FAQs

Travel:

We recommend travelling by train to Twickenham or Richmond station, followed by a short taxi ride or approximately 20-minute walk to Orleans House Gallery, where our Ceremony starts at 11AM.

Weather permitting, we’ll be hopping aboard a very quick ferry ride from Orleans House Gallery to Petersham Nurseries - a little adventure across the river!

If the weather has other plans, taxis will be available for the short journey.

Please only drive if absolutely necessary, parking is very limited at both Orleans House Gallery and Petersham Nurseries.

There is some on-street parking available nearby, but please allow plenty of extra time for parking and walking to the venue.

Lizzy likes fancy and Jimmy likes comfort.

So somewhere in the middle feels about right!

It’s Sringtime so think colour, flowers and whatever makes you feel happy.

There will be a little walking involved, so comfortable footwear is perhaps encouraged.

We chose spring because we love the gorgeous colours and flowers that come with it!

Bridesmaids: will be wearing pink!

“HOW WE MET

Summer 2011, It all started in the Menswear department of NEXT, on Lizzy's very first day. Jimmy was supposed to show her how to put the shirts away - although Lizzy quickly realised he had absolutely no idea what he was doing. Still, she thought the hairy boy was quite cute…

They bonded over music and Lizzy sharing a surname with the lead singer of Jimmy's favourite band… which Jimmy took as a sign.

Soon, Jimmy was finding excuses to stay late in Kingston to catch the bus home with Lizzy, walking CDs of Laura Marling and Frightened Rabbit up to her house. Lizzy's mum, Maggie, soon noticed this hairy boy making regular appearances!

On Christmas Eve, Jimmy painted Lizzy a picture. She told him to close his eyes for his present, gave him the quickest kiss… and ran away!

Then, just as things were getting interesting, Lizzy & Jimmy went their separate ways to university…”
